Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using LeadRot, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. LeadRot is a B2B tool — by registering, you represent that you are acting on behalf of a business or in a professional capacity.

2. Service Description

LeadRot provides a web scraping and analysis tool for finding local businesses in the United States, Canada, and Australia with outdated or poorly designed websites. The service includes Google Maps data extraction, automated website screenshots, technical audits, AI-generated website critiques, and cold email draft generation.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and verify it via magic link. One account per person. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at info@leadrot.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Credits & Payments

• 1 credit = 1 business successfully analyzed.
• Credits are consumed only when a business is successfully scraped, screenshotted, and scored.
• Unused subscription credits roll over for one billing period, capped at 2× your monthly allowance.
• One-time credit packs never expire while your account is active.
• Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.
• All prices are in USD. Taxes applied where required by law.

5. Refund Policy

See our full Refund Policy. In summary: failed analyses are auto-refunded. Consumed credits are non-refundable. Unused credits within 14 days of first purchase may be refunded on request.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use LeadRot for legitimate B2B prospecting only.
• Comply with all applicable laws when contacting businesses discovered through LeadRot, including CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), Australia's Spam Act 2003, and GDPR (where applicable).
• Not use the service for harassment, spam, stalking, or any illegal purpose.
• Not reverse engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from LeadRot.
• Not share your account credentials with others.
• Not exceed reasonable usage patterns (automated bulk access without authorization).

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeadRot, Amortoae Petru PFA, and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your outreach activities, or your violation of these Terms.

8. Data Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate data, but we cannot guarantee it. Business listings change. Websites go offline. Google Maps data can be stale. AI critiques are automated assessments, not professional design audits. Use LeadRot as a prospecting tool, not as a source of absolute truth.

9. Intellectual Property

LeadRot's code, UI, branding, and documentation are owned by Amortoae Petru PFA. The data we generate (scores, critiques, analysis reports) is licensed to you for your business use while your account is active. You may not resell raw data access to LeadRot.

10. Privacy

Your use of LeadRot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeadRot's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

We are not responsible for what you do with the leads we provide. How you contact businesses, what you pitch, and how you handle responses — that is entirely your responsibility.

12. Termination

• You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted.
• Sections 7 (Indemnification), 11 (Liability), and 14 (Governing Law) survive termination.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of România. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of București, România.

15. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LeadRot.
